Redact Tags
Redact tags provide a method in Documaker Studio and Documaker Add-in for Microsoft Word to ensure sensitive or confidential information in generated output is not visible to certain recipients.
Redact Tags allow users to pick from a list of available redact tags or add/edit a redact tag via the Manage Resources Dialog. The Add or Edit dialog for Field, Signature, and Graphic presents the Redact Tags field either as a multi-select combo box or as a regular text field.
The combo box will list redact tags contained in the Workspace Definition File (WDF) associated with the document. Redact tags defined as local resources are also available for selection via the combo box. If there are no Redact Tags in the WDF or as local resources, a text-field is used to display Redact tags. This applies to all elements supporting Redact Tags - fields, graphics and signatures.
